There is a familiar phrase that you can either love New York or not love it, but you can’t remain indifferent to it. I want to fly to New York to test these words myself and understand how I feel about this metropolis. It’s appealing, but at the same time I find it difficult. Too noisy, too many cars, sounds, people, hustle and bustle and big buildings. I love skyscrapers, but in New York City the buildings are too close together, which makes Manhattan seem like a cramped neighborhood with early twilight as the sun is hidden behind skyscrapers. There is even a definition of Manhattan Henge, where the sunset breaks through the skyscrapers.
