I have been to Sofia several times at different times of the year, both on business trips and once on excursions. In terms of infrastructure and architecture, the city is not much different from regional cities with a population of millions in Ukraine or Russia. In public transport was not necessary to ride, but there are more or less modern trolleybuses and minibusses. The prices are at the level of Ukraine / Russia. There are entertainment venues, night clubs, there are places to go out in the evening. People are generally quiet, polite, many people know English, only people of age understand Russian a little. A lot of gypsies. Beautiful mountains outside the city, where you can go on an excursion. In summer it is very hot, winters are mild and not harsh.
