You can simply walk around the center, visit Independence Square, Khreshchatyk, ride the metro, admire the Dnieper on the embankment. The nightlife is also quite interesting; there are a lot of nightclubs that work all year round. Very beautiful girls and generally reasonable people. Young people are more accommodating and speak English. It is better not to approach people with a rough appearance with questions, as they are unlikely to help with anything, but can easily ruin your mood.
