I've been here many times, both for work and just for leisure. The first thing that immediately catches your eye, if you arrive by train, is the beautiful building of the railway station, which is made entirely of glass. There is a beautiful square, which is completely paved with cobblestones and it has been preserved since the Middle Ages. With logistics around the city, of course, there are problems, and the bus station is in terrible condition, but otherwise it gives a head start to many famous tourist places of European architecture. Plus a huge number of summer cafes in the season, shopping centers and a cool football stadium, which was completely reconstructed back for Euro 2012.
