In terms of infrastructure and architecture, the city differs little from regional million-plus cities in Ukraine or Russia. I did not have to use public transport, but more or less modern trolleybuses and minibuses run there. Prices are at the level of Ukraine / Russia. There are entertainment venues and nightclubs, and there are places to go out in the evening. People are generally calm and polite, many know English, and only older people understand a little Russian. There are many gypsies. There are beautiful mountains outside the city where you can go on an excursion. It is very hot in summer, and winters are mild and not severe.
