There are two industrial giants here: UVZ, where railway cars and the famous Armata tanks are made, and NTMK, a metallurgical plant where metal is smelted, rolled products are made, and so on. It is no secret that it is financed on a residual principle, both before and now, so life here is not easy. The ecology is ruined. Salaries are low, oddly enough. In general, there is not much to do here, although there are museums, a theater, and several reservoirs. Recently, the roads within the city have been being put in order. Maybe things will improve, but it is hard to believe.
